Georgios Tzimpragos
Biographical Sketch
Currently a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science department at UC Santa Barbara and a research affiliate at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I am a member of the ArchLab, led by Prof. Tim Sherwood, and am broadly interested in Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems. My research is particularly motivated by the challenges of democratizing design for future computing platforms and the development of energy efficient architectures.
Prior to joining UCSB, I obtained my Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Davis. My alma mater is the National Technical University of Athens in Greece.
Besides academia, I have worked for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Xilinx, and Athens Information Technology.
