Bio
Ole Hald is Professor Emeritus of Mathematics at UC Berkeley. He received his Ph.D from the Courant Institute of Mathematics at NYU in 1972. He works in numerical analysis and inverse problems, with wide collection of applications to geophysical simulations, inverse sampling, stochastic particle methods, and fluid mechanics.
