Biographical Sketch

DeMasi is a computer systems engineer who is working on mathematical techniques to detect intrusions into high-performance computer networks. In 2009, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, where she received an undergraduate award to study differential equations with state-dependent delays. Some of her student projects included a summer fellowship modeling tidal heights and velocities in the portion of the New England shelf south of Martha's Vineyard.
