Israt Nisa

Israt Nisa was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Computational Research Division at Berkeley Lab. Her research focuses on the optimization of numerical and machine learning algorithms on parallel architectures. She is primarily interested in accelerating bandwidth-bound computations that use irregular sparse matrices, graphs, and tensors. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Ohio State University in August 2019.  She took an applied scientist position at the Deep Graph Library team at AWS AI in 2021.
