Pinchen Xie

Pinchen Xie is a Postdoctoral researcher in the Computational Research Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and the recipient of the 2024 Luis W. Alvarez Fellowship in Computing Sciences.  Pinchen is broadly interested in the multi-scale modeling of molecules, condensed matter, and sometimes qubits. 

Prior to joining Berkeley Lab, Pinchen earned a Ph.D. degree from Princeton University in the Program of Applied and Computational Mathematics. Pinchen also holds a B.S. in Physics from Fudan University.
