Biographical Sketch

Xiangyang Ju is a Computing System Engineer, working on Deep Learning methods for High Energy Physics problems and ATLAS core software. His activities include: exascale machine learning for particle physics tracking with the Exa.TrkX project, research on generative models, and GPU-accelerated inference frameworks. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018 with a thesis titled "Observation of the Standard Model Higgs boson and search for an additional scalar in the four-lepton final state with the ATLAS detector".
