Michael Franco is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Mathematics at UC Berkeley. His research focuses on the areas of parallel computing and computational fluid dynamics. Specific topics of interest include: high-order discontinuous Galerkin methods, implicit time integration, numerical optimization, and fluid-structure interaction.
