About

Vivek Bharadwaj is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at UC Berkeley and a graduate research assistant at the Computational Research Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory advised by Jim Demmel and Aydın Buluç. Vivek is  associated with the BeBOP and PASSION groups, and is supported by a Department of Energy Computational Science Graduate Fellowship (CSGF) from the Krell Institute. His research centers on algorithms for scientific and high performance computing. Some recent interests include distributed memory algorithms for sparse matrix kernels (SpMM and SDDMM), tiling strategies for dense GEMM-like computations, and tensor decompositions at massive scales.

Vivek's person webpage with more details can be found here.
