Ruoxi (Rosie) Jia
Ruoxi Jia is a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley. She is advised by Dr. Costas Spanos. She is also closely collaborating with Dr. Dawn Song. Her recent work is focused on the emerging problems in AI, including privacy, security and theoretical understanding of deep learning. She is also interested in smart buildings and problems concerning energy efficiency. She recently interned at the Building Technology and Urban System Division in Lawrence Berkeley National Lab, where she worked with Dr. Tianzhen Hong. Before joinning Berkeley, she completed my B.S. from Peking University.
