Keith Beattie is a computer systems engineer with over 12 years industry and research experience developing software. His interests and experience are in distributed systems and effective software build, release and configuration management. He has worked in industry as a software engineer and release manager for a dot-com and for the last 7 years at LBNL on various CS and physics research projects. Current major activities are: core member of the data acquisition development team for the IceCube neutrino detector installed at the South Pole and co-lead developer on the NetLogger distributed systems monitoring pipeline. Keith holds a MS in Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics.
