Solène Chabanier

Solène Chabanier is a postdoctoral researcher at the Computational Cosmology Center working with Dr. Zarija Lukić. She received her PhD in October 2020 from the Paris-Saclay University, under the supervision of Nathalie Palanque-Delabrouille and Frédéric Bournaud from CEA-Saclay. A copy of her CV can be found here.
She is interested in neutrino, dark matter and dark energy cosmology using large-scale structures, in particular neutral hydrogen clouds from the intergalactic medium, called the Lyman-alpha forest. She works both with observational data and numerical simulations.
She is a member of the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) and part of the ECP project ExaSky: Computing the Sky at Extreme Scales in which she is currently performing on a comparison project with between the cosmological hydrodynamical codes Nyx and HACC.
