I am a postdoctoral scholar in the Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering (CCSE) in the Computational Research Division of the Computing Sciences Directorate at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
My research interests evolve around developing numerical tool and using simulations to study the combustion physics. In a broader scope I am interested in computational fluid dynamics. I am currently working on the development of a strategy for unsteady simulation of low Mach number reacting flows subject to electric fields. The interactions between an external electric field and the charged particles naturally appearing in flames could provide further control on the combustion process, enhancing flame stabilization or reducing pollutant formation.
