Cameron Yang

I work in the Center for Computational Sciences and Engineering (CCSE) in the Computational Research Division of the Computing Sciences Directorate at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

My main interest is in computational methods and their optimization on large scale machines.

While taking a (some) gap year(s) and considering graduate school, I am currently working with Donald Wilcox and Revathi Jambunathan on adapting WarpX plasma simulation for astronomical systems.

Winner of the 2017 Professor Frank Titus Memorial Prize in Physics at Union College – "To a sophomore who demonstrates outstanding work, ability, and promise in Physics and/or Astronomy."
