Eugenia Kim received her B.S. in mathematics from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) in Daejeon, South Korea. She is currently a fourth year graduate student in the Mathematics Department at UC Berkeley. Her research interest is in numerical micromagnetics. More specifically, she's working on developing finite element methods for the Landau Lifshitz Gilbert equation and a numerical quadrature rule for evaluating singular integrals in the stray field energy term.
