Title:
Implementation details of eigensolvers in SLEPc and plans for future developments
Abstract:
SLEPc, the Scalable Library for Eigenvalue Problem Computations, is a general library for solving large-scale sparse eigenvalue problems on parallel computers. It can be used to address different kinds of problems and it is currently being used in numerous applications from different areas, including nuclear engineering, computational electromagnetics, materials science and information retrieval. This talk will focus on some of the latest developments such as the Lanczos solver included in the last release. Also, a part of the talk will be dedicated to discuss about which application requirements are currently covered in SLEPc and which are missing, with a view for future developments.
