Title:
The ATLAS Experiment
Abstract:
The ATLAS experiment at the LHC is due to come online during 2007. The complexity of the experiment itself, the large data volumes that will be produced and must be processed and the size and geographical dispersion of the collaboration must be addressed by the software and computing systems. I will present an overview of the experiment, with particular emphasis on computing aspects, both in terms of the present status and the prospects for the future.
