Title:

First Experiences with the NEC SX-8 at HLRS Stuttgart

Abstract:

HLRS has provided vector computing power for a long time. The actual machine in installation is a NEC SX-8 parallel vector computer with 72 nodes and 576 processors. First results will be given.
